To sustain profitable growth and build the organizational capability, Chevron in Indonesia is now searching for experienced Indonesian nationals who posses relevant educational background, technical, and behavior competencies to join the company in the following opportunities :

Fe Intrumentation (Ext-160/FE/EXP/ALL/OTH/2011)
Qualification :
  • 5 years plus experience and 10 years plus preferred in instrumentation and controls systems & equipment: design, installation, fabrication, construction, commissioning and startup\
  • Knowledge and experiences in design, installation and startup of electrical & instrumentation systems for plants/facilities
  • Experience with process controls (control valves, PLCs, SCADA systems, instrumentation, software) selection, installation, commissioning & startup required. Knowledge and experiences in the design, selection, installation, commissioning & trouble shooting of power distribution systems, oil, water and gas metering instrumentation, advanced programming of PLC and SCADA software will be an advantage.
Fe Mechanical (Ext-162/FE/EXP/ALL/OTH/2011)
Qualification :
  • 5 years plus experience and 10 years plus preferred in facilities equipment: design, construction, fabrication, installation, commissioning and startup
  • Background in mechanical engineering for plants/facilities
  • Good understanding of engineering design & construction concepts (e.g. P&IDs, specifications, data sheets, equipment sizing and fabrication, installation, commissioning, operation procedures, work sequence planning) related to plants/facilities
  • Knowledgeable of relevant industry specifications, codes and standards (pumps, piping, vessels, etc.)
  • Experience in pump sizing and selection, piping design, vessel & heat exchanger sizing, fabrication, installation & startup
  • Experience in upstream oil/water/gas handling facilities preferred
  • Experience collaborating on projects with other engineering disciplines (e.g. process, civil, piping, E&I)
Fe-project Engineer (Ext-167/FE/EXP/ALL/OTH/2011)
Qualification :
  • Project Management experience with strong facilities design, fabrication, construction, commissioning and startup background
  • Should have demonstrated experience running large capital projects or a portfolio of smaller capital projects
  • Experience directing the work activities and coordinating the interfaces between multiple disciplines and teams to execute projects
  • Strong understanding of oil and gas facility design including design basis and P&ID development, application of relevant industry specifications, development of engineering deliverables (data sheets, equipment sizing, etc.) and HAZOP procedures
  • Strong knowledge and experience with fabrication techniques and construction practices
  • Knowledgable and committed to implementing industry best practices in safety
  • Strong skills in cost and schedule control for assigned projects to ensure efficient execution
Construction Engineer (Ext-170/FE/EXP/ALL/OTH/2011)
Qualification :
  • 10 years in the oil and gas industry as a Project Engineer with 5 years of construction related experience in civil, piping & mechanical projects; demonstrated planning and leadership skills; Experience in working with multidiscipline teams; Previous supervision experience is required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage contractor activities, including but not limited to budgeting, cost and schedule oversight, contract development and administration, technical assurance, change management and resource loading.Knowledge and experience in Project Management including all aspects of planning and tracking
  • Knowledge and experience in engineering (civil piping and mechanical), contracting, procurement and quality assurance processes as it relates to construction of both greenfield and brownfield faciliities
  • Knowledge and experience in typical international oil and gas onshore construction practices for excavation and trenching, scaffoldiing, lifting, welding (piping and vessels) erection (tanks/ vessels) and coating
  • Knowledge and experience in utilizing typical oilfield standards including ASME Pressure Vessel Code, API 610, 650, 653, API 31.3, 31.4, 31.8
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in resource planning/ loading and project schedules using Microsoft Project
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in both constructability and safety reviews
  • Knowledge and experience in utilization of international safety standards such as OSHA, NEC as a supplement to GOI regulations
  • Good computer skills
  • Capable of using Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Powerpoint; Demonstrated moderate english reading and writing skills; Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
